Soft pillows often cause snoring surprisingly, but the reason is because soft pillows cause your body and throat to relax which would cause your throat passage to become smaller and subsequently increase snoring for you. On the other hand if you sleep on harder pillows you will find that your snoring disorder has reduced a lot from before, so you must get used to such habits.

There are other ways by using medical help and using specialized devices to help you stop snoring. Using nasal strip is an example of this. Nasal strips when put on your nose while you sleep will keep your nostrils open throughout the night to help air enter freely through the nasal air passage and reduce snoring. There are is also special medicated sprays and pills that are plenty helpful for snorers.
